EXECUTIVE CHEF
Mateo Leiva
Raised in a family-run restaurant, Mateo Leiva developed his passion for food and hospitality from an early age. After formal culinary training in Sitges, Barcelona, he began his professional journey in luxury and fine-dining kitchens across Europe.
His experience includes Le Méridien Ra Hotel in El Vendrell, Al Fresco Restaurant in Sitges, and the three-Michelin-star ABaC in Barcelona, where he refined both technique and leadership. Mateo later completed a consultancy project in Morocco before serving as Executive Chef at Aqua Nueva in London.
He now leads the opening of Anchorage in Turks and Caicos, bringing a globally informed, ingredient-driven approach to the kitchen.
